An individual aged 23 from Southampton was given a jail term of 27 weeks, deferred for one year, after pleading guilty to dangerous driving.
In addition, the judge imposed a 12-month driving ban and mandated unpaid work along with a rehabilitation program.

An officer remarked: “Residents, drivers and our roads policing teams have had enough with these crowds of drivers selfishly taking over public roads and parking areas and we will not tolerate it.”
He added: “They are not only a complete nuisance, but they also put themselves and uninvolved individuals at danger of serious injury.”
He finished: “We will continue to take legal action against these individuals and I trust these recent cases act as a warning: you will face consequences.”
