Dean Henderson Was rarely tested to make during the opening 45 but then forced to intervene from Arbër Hoxha’s curling effort. One well-timed sliding intervention on an Albanian attacker demonstrated sharp game intelligence. 6/10

The newcomer His maiden beginning for his country. Slightly sloppy when playing out however his dangerous corners were a threat. An effective pace-controller for the coach to have versus sides that sit back. Booked after a reckless tackle. Six

The midfielder Crosses from corners and free-kicks created chances. Had room to drift on the left but was in an offside position when the ball arrived with a chance to score. Given a deserved rest on the hour mark. 6

Jude Bellingham Functioned in a forward position down the right while also put in dirty work. Displayed flashes of quality but dragged an attempt over. Replaced in the closing stages for Rogers, his competition, after being booked. Seven

The winger Was presented with England’s clearest opportunity before halftime, his shot well saved from the opposing goalkeeper. As Quansah hanging back, he had to stretch the play out wide but his crosses from wide areas were hit and miss. Replaced late in the match. 6/10

Harry Kane The decisive figure with his two more strikes in an England shirt. The first a classic opportunist's goal and the second a superb finish with his head having drifted away from his marker. Now 32, he continues to improve and the side stand a real opportunity in the upcoming tournament with him up top. 8

The attacker Had difficulty to influence play from the left. Had a decent opportunity following a pass by Bellingham yet the keeper made the save. Rashford made much more of an impact when substituted. 5/10
